Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.
Gates open at 8am. Traders entry from 7 am.
Parking via Livotto Drive.

Local amateur radio club honours 150th birthday of Dr. James Naismith (Ontario)

When Almonte's native son, Dr. James Naismith invented the sport of basketball in Massachusetts in 1891, radio had not yet been developed. This occurred nine years later (1900) when Reginald Fessenden - born in East Bolton (Canada's Eastern Townships) - transmitted speech by radio waves.
