Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.

Michael Perry, of Cross City, Florida, was issued a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture in the amount of $10,000 for operating a radio transmitter without the requisite FCC authorization. The FCC found that Perry 'willfully violated section 301 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended and Sections 95.409 and 95.411 of the Commission’s rules.'

IARU Official Blasts Contesters For Out of Band Operations
In an unusually public criticism of contesters by a top IARU official, the President of IARU Region I blasted the conduct of some contesters in the recent 2010 CQ 160 SSB Contest, saying a number of stations from Europe and Africa were making contacts on frequencies not allocated to their countries, raising the specter of possible contest disqualifications.

WRTC Qualifying Shootout in 2009 Russian DX Test
It's March Madness in this year's Russian DX Contest, as for almost the entire world, this is the final qualifier for the 2010 World Radiosport Team Championships in Russia. Team leader slots could be at stake in a number of qualifying regions, especially in the US, where a victory in Russian DX might mean the difference between a WRTC ticket and staying home.
