Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.

Log Checks Decide Two Sweepstakes SSB Titles
While WP3R (KE3Q) was able to hold off the field for a tenth straight November Sweepstakes SSB title, the results show that two category winners made it into first place because their log had fewer errors. Admirals Adventure in ARRL SSB at Papa Forty Navy
It didn't matter that conditions in the 2010 ARRL DX SSB Contest weren't as good as two weeks earlier in the CW leg. It also didn't matter that one of the operators hadn't contested in years, as a pair of retired US Navy Admirals, K0DQ and N4OC, still found a winning Multi-Single formula at "Papa Forty Navy".

CN2R Leadsd CQ 160 CW; K1LZ Aims At USA Multi Record
Two years after winning the CQ 160 CW Contest from his Moroccan QTH, Jim Sullivan W7EJ seems headed for another Single Operator High Power victory, as he owns an over half million point lead over defending champ Valery Komarov RD3AF. Meanwhile in the US, Team K1LZ overcame big time weather troubles to post a record breaking Multi-Op score.

Lucky Seven Also In State QSO Party Trifecta
While N4PN is the odds-on favorite in the New England QSO Party, that role goes to Bob Harder W0BH when it comes to the 7th Call Area QSO Party. Harder won the Single Operator title the last two years and will bid for a third straight victory in 2008, all while making contacts in maybe five different contests at the same time.
