Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.

52 Year Losing Streak Likely To End In CQ WW SSB
It has been 52 years since the Single Operator World winner of the CQ WW SSB contest was from Europe, but it looks like that losing streak may have been broken this year by the effort of Jeff Steinman N5TJ from CR2X in the Azores. The last time the SOAB HP victor was from Europe was when F8PI won in 1958.

European Group Agrees To Judge 2010 IARU HQ Category
A group of European ham radio associations have agreed to take on the job of adjudicating HQ category entries for the 2010 IARU HF Contest, moving to fill the void left after the ARRL announced earlier this month that it would no longer judge the HQ competition because of past rules disputes.
