Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.

For the third straight year, the CQ WW SSB Contest arrives with propagation depressed on the HF bands, which will again force contesters to scramble for QSO's and multipliers, all courtesy of a still quiet Sun. It means another contest where you can expect crowded conditions on 20 and 40 meters and good low band conditions.

Florida Ops Open Holes In ARRL 10 Meter Test
The 2008 ARRL 10 Meter Contest won't go down in the history books as the best ever in terms of propagation, but the band was filled with signals at times from openings that surprised more than a few operators. Dan Street K1TO led the charge of the Florida Contest Group, which supplied US and Canadian hams with an almost endless supply of Sunshine State QSO's.

Records Shattered Again In 2010 CQ WW RTTY Contest
The numbers just keep getting bigger and bigger in the CQ WW RTTY Contest, as the 2010 contest proved that with record-smashing performances all over the world. P49X toasted the World Single Operator mark set just last year at EF8M, while UT5UDX absolutely crushed the World Assisted mark as 5B/UT0U.
