Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.

Back To Topband For 2010 CQ 160 SSB Contest
After an active ARRL DX CW contest weekend that saw life in the high bands, the focus for contesters shifts back to Topband and 160 meters for the 2010 CQ 160 SSB Contest. The goal for this year is certainly to hang onto some of the special propagation that boosted scores in the 2009 SSB test. VE3EY is the defending Single Operator High Power champ.

ARRL Officially Okays CW Skimmer Contest Use
After months of official review, the the ARRL has decided to allow the use of the controversial CW Skimmer program only for multi-ops and single operators using assistance in ARRL contests, mirroring a decision made last year by the CQ WW DX Contest. The ARRL will also re-name the Assisted category as "Unlimited."
