Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.
Gates open at 8am. Traders entry from 7 am.
Parking via Livotto Drive.

| The days are getting longer in Europe and that means it's time for the European Spring Sprint contests over the next two weekends. DL5AXX is the defending Spring CW Sprint champ, while ES5TV won the Spring SSB test a year ago. Meanwhile, one op hopes the police won't derail his Sprint effort. read full article |

| RD3AF, GM3POI Lead 2009 CQ 160 CW Contest |
| As the scores continue to trickle in from last month's
CQ 160 CW Contest, the records keep falling, as now the
European single op mark may fall to Clive Penna GM3POI,
who went over 2 million points for the contest. He trails
only Valery Komarov RD3AF, who ran EA8AH to 2.21 million.
In the US, new records seem likely for Multi-op, Single

| As more scores trickle in for the 2009 ARRL DX SSB
Contest, there could be a series of double wins that
emerge from this year's contest. In the single operator
ranks, P49Y (AE6Y) remains on top, with many expecting
P40A (KK9A) to be the top low power entry again this year.
Meanwhile in the multi-op ranks, it looks like W3LPL has
won the Multi-Multi crown in both ARRL CW and SSB, and
that WE3C will do the same in Multi-Two this year. read full article |
