The final claimed scores are in for the 2008 ARRL DX Contests and Yuri Onipko VE3DZ is the single operator leader in ARRL DX CW after his trip to Belize as V31UZ. Meanwhile, the ARRL SSB leader is Rich Smith N6KT, who steered HC8A to over 8 million points in his first ARRL DX appearance in 15 years.

Record Book Again In Danger In 2011 CQ WPX RTTY
The fastest growing segment of the ham radio contest community continues to be RTTY contesting, and this coming weekend that will be very apparent on the bands, with the 2011 running of the CQ WPX RTTY Contest. The 2010 WPX RTTY shattered the record for submitted logs, as entries went up 16%.

WAE CW Results Mean Some New WRTC Leaders
Another set of contest results are in from 2008, and that has again shaken up the roster of operators who would qualify for the 2010 World Radiosport Team Championships in Russia. The final numbers from the WAE CW contest had the biggest impact in South America and Oceania, as three new ops surged into first place, with just one qualifying contest left, the 2009 Russian DX test in March.
