CQ WW SSB Disqualifies HK3RA/RA3CO Contest Entry
With the Colombian government formally stating that no license or authorization for operation was ever issued to Russian contester Dimitri Kryukov RA3CO, the CQ WW Contest Committee has disqualified his Top Ten entry from last year's CQ WW SSB contest, labeling the HK3RA operation as "illegal."

7 Red Cards Issued In CQ WW SSB Cheating Crackdown
The CQ WW Contest Committee has continued its crackdown on cheating, handing out seven Red Cards and 4 Yellow Cards in final results on the 2009 CQ WW SSB Contest. The big DQ tossed out the top QRP score from KP4KE (DK8ZB); also a top low power entrant, HI3TEJ, was moved to the Assisted category along with almost thirty other competitors.
