Everyone is cordially invited to the Summerland ARC Hamfest ("SARCFEST"). at the clubrooms, 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill. 11km east of Lismore, off the Bruxner Highway.

No Signals From CQ WW Contest Committee On "Private" DQ's
With fresh evidence in the CQ WW DX contests of possible "private" disqualifications being handed out by the CQ WW Contest Committee, contesters from around the world are urging a halt to that practice, calling for more public declarations of DQ decisions. "Naming and shaming is the only way to deal with premeditated and calculated cheaters," said one ham.

Tennessee QSO Party Goal - Sweep 95 Counties in 9 Hours
All 95 counties will be activated for the 2010 Tennessee QSO Party, giving you nine hours to try to put together a sweep of the Volunteer State. Bob Harder W0BH is the defending out of state Single Op champ, while Bob Edmondson N4VV was the 2009 Single Op High Power champ inside Tennessee. Helping make things more interesting will be at least a dozen mobiles on the roads as well.

CQ WW RTTY Returns For Another Record Year
The record setting growth of RTTY contests will likely be on display this weekend as the CQ WW RTTY contest takes over the HF bands for a full 48 hours, kicking off the 2008 trifecta of CQ WW DX contests. The number of logs was up 14% in 2007 and that number is expected to grow even more in this 22nd running of this contest.

CQ WW CW 2008: Where Are the Sunspots?

W0BH Goes For Four 7QP Titles In A Row
While Paul Newberry N4PN tries to repeat in the New England QSO Party, out West, the winning streak is in the hands of Bob Harder W0BH, as he has had the top Single Operator score in all three 7th Call Area QSO Parties. In 2008, Harder won easily, as he bagged over half of the 7QP counties, in a competition where no one will be talking about a "sweep."
