| WAE CW Results Mean Some New WRTC Leaders |
| Another set of contest results are in from 2008, and that has again shaken up the roster of operators who would qualify for the 2010 World Radiosport Team Championships in Russia. The final numbers from the WAE CW contest had the biggest impact in South America and Oceania,
as three new ops surged into first place, with just one qualifying
